2023 Patz & Hall Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay (Was $60)
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay is from blocks planted for Patz & Hall in 1997 and 1999 using the famous “Hyde Wente” selection of Chardonnay. The 2022 Hyde Chardonnay demonstrates why this vineyard has been a three-star, acclaimed Patz & Hall offering for over 30 years. The just ripe pomaceous fruit mingles seamlessly with the vanilla spice from careful new French oak ageing. Evidence of lees contact show by richness of palate and a nuance of toast and flint. This wine has wonderfully fresh acidity that is contrasted by startling deep, rich textures, a seeming contradiction, found in only the greatest Chardonnays.$39.905 -
2023 Wayfarer WF2 Fort Ross-Seaview Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Freshly squeezed oranges and lemon zest emerge from the glass along with nectarine, toasted almond and coconut. Intense with lots of volume, the wine is balanced by a zesty backbone. The palate is opulent yet fresh with creamy notes of lemon meringue pie and a hint of sea salt. White peach emerges as the wine lingers on the palate. There is a beautiful symmetry and balance to this Chardonnay.$44.9021 -
2023 Gautheron Chablis
In 1977 Alain Gautheron, the 6th generation in a line of Chablis vignerons, joined his father Jean in the family domaine located about 4 kilometers from the town of Chablis. At that time, the domaine was comprised of a mere 8 hectares and was selling around 10,000 bottles a year. Alain decided to get serious and, with the help of his father, grew the domaine’s holdings. In 1991 when Jean decided to retire, Alain took over the entire 14.5-hectare estate. He was joined in 2000 by his son Cyril, who helped create a new cuverie and generally bring the domaine into the modern era. From 15- to 55-year old vines planted on Kimmeridgien soil, the wine is vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. Aromas of fresh flowers, followed by peach and apricot as well as citrus fruits. On the palate it is well balanced and elegant with a long mineraled finish. A great partner for oysters on the half shell, scallops or salmon tartare.$27.909 -

Winery Notes- The small clusters of the 2022 vintage allowed us to make Chardonnays with appealing intensity, balance, and nuance. Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the region – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the region. We picked and fermented each component of this blend separately and aged them all for 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The resulting blend offers compelling new world aromas with fresh acidity and focus, reminiscent of the old world.$29.903 -

2023 Domaine Etienne Sauzet Bourgogne Blanc
Clear in color already. A lovely elegant nose, quite classy for appellation. Round, almondy fruit with a little bit more oak then usual for Bourgogne Blanc since it was 100% barrel- fermented due to the small crop rather than the normal 50%. This has good balance, with lemon/lime, cream and some anise on the finish.$49.904 -

2024 Massican Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- We are proud to source the Chardonnay for this wine from Hyde, one of California's most famous and historic Chardonnay vineyards, founded by Larry Hyde in Carneros in 1979. Tucked away in the southern part of Napa Valley, the entire estate is a gorgeous expanse of rolling hills with southeast exposure and saline morning fog. The parcels of Musque clone Chardonnay and old Wente that make up this bottling were planted between 1979 and 1992. This wine was fermented and aged in 100% new French oak, then bottled as this single-vineyard wine.$44.904 -
2023 La Chablisienne Chablis Le Finage
Winery Notes- Pale gold in colour, brilliant. At first, fairly discreet on the nose revealing notes of sweet spices (vanilla). After opening, more fruity aromas appear (pear juice) with slight vegetal and lemon hints. The palate is fresh with well balanced acidity. The whole is simple and rich with great energy.$24.906 -
2022 Gautheron Vieilles Vignes Chablis
Made from some of the oldest vines on the property (60-70 years old), on Kimmeridgien soil, this wine is fermented in tank and then spends several months in oak. It has plenty of saline and mineraled notes, as well as fresh, floral aromas and appley fruit, while a touch of vanilla adds complexity on the palate. Delightful wine.$32.905 -
2021 Lingua Franca AVNI Willamette Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The aroma is complex with layers of mineral, citrus, white flowers and gunflint. On the palate the wine is balanced, vibrant and racy with a long finish. The natural acidity of the region is rounded by labor-intensive barrel fermentation and aging. Avni 2021 has nuances of lemon peel, green apple, fresh herbs, and a softer edge of pear and vanilla blossom in the background.$36.9010 -
2019 Alphonse Mellot Les Pénitents Chardonnay Côtes De La Charité
Winery Notes- Les Pénitents, a cuvee produced from a vineyard that was almost destroyed by phylloxera in the late 19th century but whose renown goes back to the 12th century, when it was planted and farmed by Cluniac monks, who were gifted the land by Etienne, Count of Sancerre. Now reduced in size to some fifty hectares, it was brought back to life in the late 1980s thanks to the dedication of winegrowers in love with their art. Located on the hillsides of Nièvre just thirty-five kilometres from the family’s Sancerre base and classified as IGP Côtes de la Charité, the vineyard is crosLes-Pénitents-Côtes-De-La-Charité-BLC.jpgsed by the Way of Saint James of Compostela – whence the cuvee’s name.
