Winery Notes- The small clusters of the 2022 vintage allowed us to make Chardonnays with appealing intensity, balance, and nuance. Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the region – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the region. We picked and fermented each component of this blend separately and aged them all for 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The resulting blend offers compelling new world aromas with fresh acidity and focus, reminiscent of the old world.$29.907 -

Winery Notes- M5 is Margerum's Flagship wine. It is modeled after top wines from southern Rhône – Châteauneuf-du-Pape . The M is for Margerum and the 5 is for 5 grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Counoise. M5 is a Grenache-based blend and has elegance and layers making it a versatile table and food wine. The overlying presence of Grenache flavors initially impacts the palate, followed by a finish complete with hints of jam, cocoa, and dark berry contributions of Syrah and earthy Mourvèdre. It’s a “go-to” wine since it drinks well with every occasion and almost every type of cuisine. 2022 La Follette Los Primeros Sonoma County Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Sonoma County is emerging as a top spot for Chardonnays to pair with food. With a much larger Diurnal Swing than our neighbors to the East, Sonoma Chardonnays tend to be more “European” in style with racy acid and more stone fruit flavors like white peach and apricot. This wine is a blend of both declassified barrels from some of our top single vineyard sites along with contracted sources picked by the winemaking team for specific flavor profiles. A pale yellow color with notes of star jasmine, Bartlett pear and star fruit on the nose. Faint hints of vanilla, toasted marshmallow and grilled lemon linger in the background. In the mouth the pear, star fruit and white flowers persist with the addition of Fuji apple, persimmon with a zippy acidity. Pairs well with mild cheeses and seafood dishes like shrimp scampi or macadamia crusted halibut.$24.9015 -

2020 Domaine Roger Perrin Châteauneuf-du-Pape
This wine is a sophisticated blend of 76% Grenache, 12% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 3% Cinsault, 2% Clairette, 2% Counoise, and 2% Vaccarese. The grapes are harvested by hand and partially (30-40%) destemmed depending upon the ripeness of the vintage. Vinification takes place in cement tanks over a period of 18-to-23 days. Certain lots of grapes are harvested separately, but generally two or three grapes are vinified together. 30-40% of the wine is raised in foudre, 40-50% in enamel-lined tanks, and 15-20% in new oak.
