2022 Ink Grade Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc (Was $75)
Winery Notes- Working with concrete, stainless steel and large oak vessels to marry textures and weights; working with lees to enhance the saline quality; and pressing longer to build structure and expose a minor note of bitterness on the finish. A refreshing and vibrant wine with excellent acidity, our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is the most exceptional vintage to date. Produced from older vines, this wine expresses notes of star fruit, lemongrass, nectarine, lemon zest, and a natural salinity reminiscent of an ocean mist. The weight and texture of the palate are held together by the bright acidity, leading to a lengthy finish. A double or triple decant elevates all elements of this wine now, or it will open on its own in 2026. In the winery, we preserve the distinctive aromatics of the grapes by minimizing exposure to air and fermenting with native and cultured yeast in a combination of stainless steel and neutral French oak. 2022 Quivira Fig Tree Vineyard Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The wine is a beautiful pale-yellow color that is star bright with a tinge of green. The nose has classic Sauvignon Blanc notes of grapefruit, underripe pear and lemon. Add to these aromas of hibiscus flower and just a whisp of almond macaroon and toasted coconut. The palate has eyebrow raising acidity up front which rounds out seamlessly through the middle. Flavors of lemon bar, clementine and kumquat are wrapped in river rock minerality with freshness akin to a tropical rainstorm. A beautiful expression of our cool microclimate in Dry Creek Valley. -

2022 Bedrock Wine Co. Sonoma Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- Having a few more vintages of experience under our belts with the two small blocks of Sauvignon Blanc at Bedrock Vineyard, we are starting to see some subtle differences created by the gentle contours and soil shifts. Though planted next to each other, using the same Musqué clone on the same Los Robles Cobbly Loam soil, we have started to see an interesting, and happily complimentary, difference arise between the two. Block 2, which has a bit more rock and a subtle rise on its north end, tends to be quite aromatically detailed, more structured, and very delineated in mouthfeel. Block 3, which is less rocky and has more clay-loam, tends to have more vigorous vines that lead to wines that are more generous in body and richness (and perhaps a trace more obvious). For the Bedrock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, we decided to build the wine around the tactile Block 2 and blend in a little bit of Block 3 for some weight and fruit. Both lots were barrel fermented in a range of barrel sizes, and this wine has a bit of new oak from our favorite coopers.$26.905 -

Winery Notes- This lesser seen varietal, famously comprising the great reds from the Loire valley in France, finds a new home in the happy soils of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. The warmth of the vintage blessed this wine with deep wild plum and wild red berry notes that invite you into deeper floral and earth tones.
