The blend is driven by fruit from the older 1991-planted Cabernet block, with additional components from the 1997-planted younger block, along with Merlot and Malbec, all sourced from the 10-acre Williams estate vineyard. This wine captures the classic Rutherford character so many Cabernet lovers seek out, showing that unmistakable dusty elegance alongside impressive depth and structure. Aged for 22 months in French oak, it opens with dark, ripe aromas of plum, black cherry, and raspberry layered with notes of cocoa, nutmeg, and clove.
