2024 Occidental Freestone-Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Freestone-Occidental wine shares the same winemaking techniques as our vineyard designated pinot noirs. Crystalline, bright, mouthwatering, and a bit salty with a saline mineral finish, the 2024 Freestone-Occidental evokes juicy red berries and a near perfect balance of finesse and energy – of bright, primary red fruits and saline elements. It conveys outstanding precision and lift in the mouth and finishes vibrant and long with beautifully sculpted tannins. Its modest alcohol (13%) makes this wine a perfect complement to any meal. 2023 Cep (Peay Vineyards) Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The ideal expression of Pinot Noir to us is a wine that has body without heaviness and is full of flavor but graceful and elegant. The 2023 Cep Pinot Noir captures this essence and is just gorgeous. The aroma features bright fruits of raspberry, pomegranate, and cranberry with floral elements blowing through and a slightly brambly, anise quality giving ballast in the face of the high tones. It is full-flavored yet not rich, a quality I find very attractive and unique, especially at this price point. The acidity is mouth-watering though not aggressive. The tell-tale Peay Pinot Noir aromas of dried pine needle, jasmine tea, and earth linger in the aftertaste. This wine offers charm, complexity, and value. Cep is the second label of Peay Vineyards. The Pinot Noir is made from barrels that do not go into one of the Peay Pinot Noirs and, oftentimes, many of the barrels from a specific block found in a Peay wine are also in this cuvée. This style of Pinot Noir is simply not found in wines at this price point as it is made to be Peay and has impeccable balance, finesse, and site expressiveness. 2023 Caterwaul Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
#51 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2025 Winery Notes- Great vintages are often signaled early in a wine’s life. Mere weeks into existence, the richness, balance and power of 2023 was clear. Carefully sourced Napa Valley vineyards produced great dividends with a perfect marriage of round tannin and supple fruit. Brilliant scarlet red on the rim, denoting a pronounced natural acidity, the wine quickly finds depth in an opaque, violet hue. A rich nose of crushed minerals and red/black berry fruit fills the glass, framed by dusky, dark violets. Complexity on the initial palate girds the expectation of an unbridled wine. Like gentle giant, this wine clearly has a powerful build but conveys a restrained intensity. Soft tannins marked by toasty oak and a wide frame of confit red and purple fruits mark the midpalate. 2023 Hourglass HG III Napa Valley Red Blend
Winery Notes- HGIII is composed around a core of Merlot, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot commanding attention and delivering unmatched expressiveness. Aromas of red and black currants intertwine seamlessly with lavender and herbes de Provence, creating a floral interplay. On the palate, dark sour cherry and inky black cassis take the spotlight, supported by supple tannins and vibrant acidity. 2023 Brewer-Clifton Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- This bottling is comprised of Pinot Noir from four vineyards within the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. 3D, Machado, Hapgood, and Perilune vineyards all contribute to the wine which exhibits a drive, richness and pedigree expressive of our special growing area coupled with the purity of fruit and firm structure which have been the trademark of Brewer-Clifton. 3D - The primary emphasis of the predominantly sandy 10 acre vineyard is chardonnay, with five clones planted. In addition to chardonnay, there is a smaller field of pinot noir planted to Swan, Pommard and 667 clones. MACHADO - 15 acre parcel on the Machado family land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy clay loam soils. HAPGOOD - In slightly richer soil, the vineyard is planted to the Mount Eden selection of chardonnay. The elevated clay loam content results in larger volume and a more dense palate expression. Our most recent installation, planted in 2010, is this small 2 1/2 acre section of pinot noir planted to Merry Edwards clone. CRAFT Only neutral barrels are employed. We strive for whole cluster fermentation. We farm with a focus of ripening the stems alongside the fruit, allowing the cluster to be in harmony. Working with the stems allows for wines that are structured, earthy and balanced with our beautiful Sta. Rita Hills fruit. CELLARING All of the wines are produced with the intention of aging and cellaring for at least 10 years and can easily be enjoyed after 15 years.$38.906 -

2023 Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines, and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog, and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 25% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed. The Pinot Noir is pressed 30% whole cluster, with native yeast fermentation. It is aged for 8 months in 15% new French oak, and 85% neutral. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromatically the wine has a floral perfume, with notes of bright red fruits and hints of wild herbs. On the palate, the wine has juicy pomegranate seeds along with a structure of finesse and elegance.$34.907 -
2023 Turley Dragon Vineyard Howell Mountain Zinfandel
Winery Notes- Dragon Vineyard is an estate-farmed, certified organic vineyard. Planted at 2250 feet at one of the highest points on Howell Mountain, the vineyard sits well above the fog line and faces east, first to receive the soft morning sun. These important features, along with the rocky, red volcanic soil, make for a unique, full-bodied, powerful Zinfandel. This is often Larry’s favorite since it goes with what he most likes to cook: bold, flavorful, spice-laden meats laid over an open fire. There’s a reason Howell Mountain was the first designated sub-AVA in Napa Valley: the wines from this hallowed ridge are the most distinctive in the entire region.$59.901
