Winery Notes- “Leviathan” conjures something immense and powerful, much like the stories that the name originates from. The word was actually the progenitor of the wine. “When I heard it, I thought it was so much fun and I should make a wine called Leviathan,” Andy has said. It became the perfect symbol embodying the vision to create a single, expansive wine fed by multiple unique sites – our California vineyard exploration. It also served as the inspiration for the label, designed by Michael McDermott in collaboration with Andy. A Leviathan is something unusually huge, and Michael wanted the label to reflect that. 2020 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion
Winery Notes- The growth is located east of Saint-Emilion on the northern slope of a limestone plateau. Its location in a cool sector is a true advantage in the context of climate change. Its plots are established on clay-limestone soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest. Château Fleur Cardinale is naturally complex and generous, with a sensation of fresh and intense fruit both on the nose and palate. The wine is renowned for its ability to achieve perfect balance between the power and silkiness of Merlots grown on clay soils, and the fresh, distinguished character of Cabernets grown on limestone. It is a great wine for aging, thanks to a solid structure supported by consistently fine tannins, a true signature of the House.$49.9010 -

2022 K Vintners Motor City Kitty - Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Syrah
Winery Notes- 2022 was a unique year for wine grapes in Washington State. A slow start due to a late spring eventually balanced out into an even and warm summer, ultimately leading to one of the longest falls we have ever experienced. Our vineyards, which produce great grapes year in and year out, harvested fruit that lent itself to extremely special wines this year. Wines that are firm, bright, and beautiful, with lovely aromas. 2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -

Winery Notes- Our 2022 Tapestry Reserve presents a bold and expressive Bordeaux-style red blend, marked by its deep, intense character and elevated structure. Layers of dark fruit—blackberry, plum, and cassis—form the core of the palate, framed by heady aromatics and a generous use of new oak that imparts subtle notes of warm baking spices, toast, and a touch of nuttiness. The inclusion of more Malbec and Petit Verdot in this vintage adds both color intensity and a structural backbone, enhancing the wine’s age-worthiness while lending a more serious, focused profile. 2018 Hestan Meyer Vineyard Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $85)
Winery Notes- In the glass the wine displays a nearly opaque purple-ruby hue. On the nose, there are aromas of black currant, blackberry cassis anise, sweet and sour plum with a hint of black and red licorice. The palate opens with ripe plum, graham and brown sugar with blackberries and white pepper notes. The wine is balanced with soft tannins and a med long finish. Age for 7-12 years.$54.902 -
