2025 Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre
Does it get more classic than this? Like Chablis and Muscadet, Sancerre is a quintessential white wine appellation of France, beloved for its famous Kimmeridgian limestone and crisp blancs that sing at apéro hour. This AOC also happens to be home to half a dozen vignerons named Reverdy. Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, a family farm that has been making wine for many generations—since the 1600s—is our favorite, producing Sancerres with trademark notes of fresh spring flowers and a zesty, mineral finish. Since Kermit began to work with Hippolyte, the first Reverdy in this family to bottle, in the 1980s, the wines have been consistently excellent. The current generation, Julie Guiard—Hippolyte’s granddaughter—is as much a humble farmer as any of her ancestors, foregoing vacation and travel to make sure everything is in exactly the right place in her vines and cellar. As we celebrate four decades of importing Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, join me in opening a bottle of this charming Sancerre that represents what we love most about tradition in French winemaking.$44.9024+ -

2022 Leviathan California Red Blend (1.5 LTR) (Was $80)
Winery Notes- “Leviathan” conjures something immense and powerful, much like the stories that the name originates from. The word was actually the progenitor of the wine. “When I heard it, I thought it was so much fun and I should make a wine called Leviathan,” Andy has said. It became the perfect symbol embodying the vision to create a single, expansive wine fed by multiple unique sites – our California vineyard exploration. It also served as the inspiration for the label, designed by Michael McDermott in collaboration with Andy. A Leviathan is something unusually huge, and Michael wanted the label to reflect that. Simple and abstract, dark but not sinister.Rating(s)$59.902 -
2022 Orin Swift Palermo Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $65)

Savart Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Fred Savart is a force to be reckoned with. Tasting in his cellar is as much a tour of the various terroirs of the Montagne de Reims as it is a discussion of what’s new in the wine world. Fred is first and foremost a farmer but right behind that he is a bonafide wine geek. His cellar's entrance is lined with dead soldiers from all the great names and his idea of having you over for dinner is blind tasting you on things that he's really excited about at that moment. Constantly evolving, Fred is making almost a dozen wines from just 4 hectares. In his own words, his winery is "a laboratory of terroirs and a creator of cuvées."$139.904 -
2023 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Truffière
More restrained on the nose than the Chassagne before it, but in no way a lighter wine. grilled almond fruit, very type Puligny – brioche bread coated with sugar. Very pungent and long-lasting on the palate, with butterscotch, caramel and some white pepper on the finish, along with some peaches. High toned acids throughout, with some rose water and menthol. Complex. Wow!Rating(s)$139.901 -
2020 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion
Winery Notes- The growth is located east of Saint-Emilion on the northern slope of a limestone plateau. Its location in a cool sector is a true advantage in the context of climate change. Its plots are established on clay-limestone soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest. Château Fleur Cardinale is naturally complex and generous, with a sensation of fresh and intense fruit both on the nose and palate. The wine is renowned for its ability to achieve perfect balance between the power and silkiness of Merlots grown on clay soils, and the fresh, distinguished character of Cabernets grown on limestone. It is a great wine for aging, thanks to a solid structure supported by consistently fine tannins, a true signature of the House.$49.9010 -
2023 Patz & Hall Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay (Was $60)
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay is from blocks planted for Patz & Hall in 1997 and 1999 using the famous “Hyde Wente” selection of Chardonnay. The 2022 Hyde Chardonnay demonstrates why this vineyard has been a three-star, acclaimed Patz & Hall offering for over 30 years. The just ripe pomaceous fruit mingles seamlessly with the vanilla spice from careful new French oak ageing. Evidence of lees contact show by richness of palate and a nuance of toast and flint. This wine has wonderfully fresh acidity that is contrasted by startling deep, rich textures, a seeming contradiction, found in only the greatest Chardonnays.Rating(s)$39.905 -

2021 William Harrison Rutherford Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $80)
The 2021 WM Harrison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional value from Napa Valley’s celebrated Rutherford appellation, made from two of the estate’s three Cabernet Sauvignon blocks. The blend is driven by fruit from the older 1991-planted Cabernet block, with additional components from the 1997-planted younger block, along with Merlot and Malbec, all sourced from the 10-acre Williams estate vineyard. This wine captures the classic Rutherford character so many Cabernet lovers seek out, showing that unmistakable dusty elegance alongside impressive depth and structure. Aged for 22 months in French oak, it opens with dark, ripe aromas of plum, black cherry, and raspberry layered with notes of cocoa, nutmeg, and clove. 2023 Caymus-Suisun The Walking Fool Suisun Valley Proprietary Red (1 Liter) (Was $50)
Winery Notes- This new red wine blend is produced from Suisun Valley, a remarkable AVA that has become the Wagner family’s second home. A 30-minute drive from Napa, Suisun has ideal soils and climate for a variety of grapes. The Walking Fool is named after a long-ago relative who was often seen traveling by foot – thus earning this affectionate moniker. 2023 Dominique Roger Les Deserts Sancerre
The Roger family’s roots in the Sancerre can be measured in centuries, with records showing the family residing in the region since the early 18th century. It was in 1950 that Dominique’s father Maurice started Domaine du Carrou in one Sancerre’s finest villages, Bué. This high altitude bastion of Sauvignon Blanc boasts all three of the regions famed soil types: terres blanches, caillotes, and an enviable percentage of silex. In the vineyards, Dominique chooses to work the soils constantly, allowing the roots to extend into the limestone mother rock. Herbicides and pesticides are never used and the grapes are only hand harvested (a practice that is becoming rarer and rarer in Sancerre). In the cellar, only indigenous yeasts are used and the wines are aged in tank to preserve the mineral cut of these privileged vineyards. The dedication put forth by the Roger family has vaulted to the upper echelons of the region. Domaine du Carrou is consistently ranked as one of the top producers in all of Sancerre by La Revue du Vin de France and other French publications.$39.9021 -
2022 K Vintners Motor City Kitty - Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Syrah
Winery Notes- 2022 was a unique year for wine grapes in Washington State. A slow start due to a late spring eventually balanced out into an even and warm summer, ultimately leading to one of the longest falls we have ever experienced. Our vineyards, which produce great grapes year in and year out, harvested fruit that lent itself to extremely special wines this year. Wines that are firm, bright, and beautiful, with lovely aromas. We’re excited to watch them continue to develop and provide enjoyment for years to come!$36.9024+ -
2023 Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- I feel this wine expresses the greatness of California and its hidden pockets where Cabernet can excel. The cold Pacific Ocean running the entire length of the state presents maritime influences – and with each small distance eastward the climate warms. Stony soils, south facing slopes and moderately warm conditions are the keys to producing dark, rich and good tasting Cabernet. This wine stems from excitement over California’s diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, that can produce exceptional Cabernet. We search for sites with climatic conditions, soils and topography ideally suited to Cabernet – places from Paso Robles to lesser-known areas in Lake, San Benito and Monterey Counties. With ripe fruit and luxurious tannins, this wine reveals the Caymus character, and is drinkable upon release or with age.$39.9019
