2025 Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre
Does it get more classic than this? Like Chablis and Muscadet, Sancerre is a quintessential white wine appellation of France, beloved for its famous Kimmeridgian limestone and crisp blancs that sing at apéro hour. This AOC also happens to be home to half a dozen vignerons named Reverdy. Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, a family farm that has been making wine for many generations—since the 1600s—is our favorite, producing Sancerres with trademark notes of fresh spring flowers and a zesty, mineral finish. Since Kermit began to work with Hippolyte, the first Reverdy in this family to bottle, in the 1980s, the wines have been consistently excellent. The current generation, Julie Guiard—Hippolyte’s granddaughter—is as much a humble farmer as any of her ancestors, foregoing vacation and travel to make sure everything is in exactly the right place in her vines and cellar. As we celebrate four decades of importing Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, join me in opening a bottle of this charming Sancerre that represents what we love most about tradition in French winemaking.$44.9024+ -
2025 Alphonse Mellot La Moussière Sancerre
Delve into a captivating sensory experience with the 2025 Alphonse Mellot La Moussière Sancerre. As the wine cascades into the glass, a pale, luminous straw hue hints at the purity and freshness that awaits. On the nose, an enchanting bouquet of zesty citrus and sun-ripened peaches mingles with delicate notes of white flowers, creating an aromatic symphony that embodies the essence of the Loire Valley. With each sip, your palate is greeted by a harmonious dance of flavors – vibrant lemon and grapefruit interplay with hints of green apple, all underlined by a subtle minerality that elegantly reflects the terroir. The wine's remarkable acidity brings liveliness and a refreshing crispness, while a gentle whisper of herbs adds layers of complexity. The finish is enduring and graceful, leaving a trail of citrusy brightness that lingers in anticipation of the next sip. The 2024 Alphonse Mellot La Moussière Sancerre is a testament to the Mellot family's dedication to producing wines of exceptional character and finesse. Enjoy this Sancerre as a symphony of flavors that transports you to the rolling hillsides of the Loire Valley with every indulgent moment.$37.9020 -
2023 Domaine Hubert Brochard Château de Fontaine-Audon Terres de Silex Sancerre
Winery Notes- An intriguingly understated wine for curious palates… Beneath its mysterious air and reserved exterior, with a little patience this cuvée reveals a truly fascinating character. Subtly refined, with a refreshing verticality and a remarkably lingering mouthfeel, this wine bears all the hallmarks of our Château de Fontaine-Audon vineyard’s finest parcels. The pure hues of our Château de Fontaine-Audon cuvée perfectly reflect its subtle floral aromas and mineral palate. Its delightful aromatic complexity leaves a lasting impression on the palate and pairs perfectly with shellfish or elegant fish dishes.$38.9012 -
2020 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion
Winery Notes- The growth is located east of Saint-Emilion on the northern slope of a limestone plateau. Its location in a cool sector is a true advantage in the context of climate change. Its plots are established on clay-limestone soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest. Château Fleur Cardinale is naturally complex and generous, with a sensation of fresh and intense fruit both on the nose and palate. The wine is renowned for its ability to achieve perfect balance between the power and silkiness of Merlots grown on clay soils, and the fresh, distinguished character of Cabernets grown on limestone. It is a great wine for aging, thanks to a solid structure supported by consistently fine tannins, a true signature of the House.$49.9010 -
2023 Dominique Roger Les Deserts Sancerre
The Roger family’s roots in the Sancerre can be measured in centuries, with records showing the family residing in the region since the early 18th century. It was in 1950 that Dominique’s father Maurice started Domaine du Carrou in one Sancerre’s finest villages, Bué. This high altitude bastion of Sauvignon Blanc boasts all three of the regions famed soil types: terres blanches, caillotes, and an enviable percentage of silex. In the vineyards, Dominique chooses to work the soils constantly, allowing the roots to extend into the limestone mother rock. Herbicides and pesticides are never used and the grapes are only hand harvested (a practice that is becoming rarer and rarer in Sancerre). In the cellar, only indigenous yeasts are used and the wines are aged in tank to preserve the mineral cut of these privileged vineyards. The dedication put forth by the Roger family has vaulted to the upper echelons of the region. Domaine du Carrou is consistently ranked as one of the top producers in all of Sancerre by La Revue du Vin de France and other French publications.$39.9021 -
2022 K Vintners Motor City Kitty - Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Syrah
Winery Notes- 2022 was a unique year for wine grapes in Washington State. A slow start due to a late spring eventually balanced out into an even and warm summer, ultimately leading to one of the longest falls we have ever experienced. Our vineyards, which produce great grapes year in and year out, harvested fruit that lent itself to extremely special wines this year. Wines that are firm, bright, and beautiful, with lovely aromas. We’re excited to watch them continue to develop and provide enjoyment for years to come!$36.9024+ -
2023 Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- I feel this wine expresses the greatness of California and its hidden pockets where Cabernet can excel. The cold Pacific Ocean running the entire length of the state presents maritime influences – and with each small distance eastward the climate warms. Stony soils, south facing slopes and moderately warm conditions are the keys to producing dark, rich and good tasting Cabernet. This wine stems from excitement over California’s diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, that can produce exceptional Cabernet. We search for sites with climatic conditions, soils and topography ideally suited to Cabernet – places from Paso Robles to lesser-known areas in Lake, San Benito and Monterey Counties. With ripe fruit and luxurious tannins, this wine reveals the Caymus character, and is drinkable upon release or with age.$39.9019 -

2023 Pascal Jolivet Sancerre
Winery Notes- Each grape (Sauvignon Blanc) is sorted upon receipt of the harvest, we work by gravity in order to respect the natural circuit of vinification. Press lightly to maintain optimum fruitiness. Assembly of 50% limestone, 30% clay-limestone and 20% flint. Each soil is vinified separately in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the limestone brings minerality and finesse; the clay-limestone brings the fruit, the richness and the flint brings the structure and the minerality. Unique, precise, chic, timeless and divinely good.$39.9014 -
2023 Turnbull Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Delicate fruit esters lift from the glass, tempting the nose with macerated strawberries, red plums, and blackberry compote. Tertiary layers of sagebrush, mountain chaparral, and sweet brown baking spices compel the first sip. A lively acidity creates a playful rhythm along the palate, fulfilling aromatic promises that deliver vibrancy and finesse through the finish. This vintage offers purity and fine-grained tannins, enveloping a dense, fruit laden core that remains wonderfully fresh.$44.907 -
2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -
2023 Aperture Soil Specific Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2023 sauvignon blanc incorporates our estate-grown sémillion and sauvignon musqué, that we planted on the Aperture property in 2019. These two estate blocks were hand-harvested in early September at the same time as the Sauvignon Blanc from Farrow Ranch in Geyserville. The sauvignon blanc from Dry Stack Vineyard in the Bennett Valley AVA was brought to the winery in early October, consistent with this vineyard’s unique late-ripening characteristics.$36.908 -
2022 Post & Beam (Far Niente) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The 2022 Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon displays seductive aromas of briar patch and plum sauce on the nose before leading onto a palate that is well-structured yet elegant. Round and textured on the palate, the entry is layered with cassis and blackberry. The finish exudes vanilla, mocha, and cocoa flavors alongside resolved tannins.$47.9024+ -
2023 Denner The New Colossus Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep ruby to the rim. The 2023 Denner The New Colossus Cabernet Sauvignon shows a classic Paso mix of generosity and polish: ripe cassis, black raspberry, and blackberry liqueur layered with violet, cedar shavings, and graphite, plus undertones of cocoa nib, espresso, and a cool mint/anise lift. The palate is concentrated yet composed—plush dark fruit at the core, wrapped in fine, ripe tannins and a lively acid thread that keeps the richness moving. Notes of dark chocolate, pencil shavings, and warm baking spice unfurl with air, leading to a long, structured finish with a faint crushed-rock snap.$39.905 -
2021 CrossBarn (Paul Hobbs) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- This wine shows deep ruby in hue with a bouquet of crushed violets, red currant, and black plum. A bounty of concentrated black fruits is featured on the palate, accompanied by dried herbs and cacao. Structured tannins provide this full-bodied wine with a unique depth along with a lively acidity that gives tension to a long, seamless finish.$49.901 -
2022 Obsidian Ridge Volcanic Estate Red Hills Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Estate Cabernet is the signature wine of Obsidian Ridge Vineyard and embodies the complexity and wildness of the site. The structure and intensity of upper blocks is complemented by aromatics and acidity of cooler blocks. The extreme climate, altitude, and volcanics of the site result a wine with distinct volcanic character—intense color, aroma and flavor, with a freshness and minerality that typifies the site.$34.901 -
2024 Quintessa Illumination Napa - Sonoma Counties Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- Illumination shares equal complexity and stands as a worthy partner to our estate blend. Agustin and Valeria Huneeus saw the potential of Sauvignon Blanc to be transparent to its terroir and planted a plot of the variety at Quintessa in 2002. Today, this limited production wine is one of Napa Valley’s most sought after white wines.$44.9010 -
2024 Cade Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2024 has aromas of pear, yellow apple, honeysuckle, white peach, mango, pineapple, guava, and tropical fruits. On the palate are flavors of lemon, green apple, Bartlett pear, grapefruit, honeydew melon, lemon custard, lemon grass, and passion fruit. The wine finishes with a vibrant acidity and a beautiful creamy texture. The addition of Viognier and the Sauvignon Musqué adds a lot of the honeysuckle and floral notes. The concrete eggs and the barrel ferments add a creamy texture to the wine, giving it more complexity and length while maintaining a great freshness and vibrancy.$34.9024+
