2025 Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre
Does it get more classic than this? Like Chablis and Muscadet, Sancerre is a quintessential white wine appellation of France, beloved for its famous Kimmeridgian limestone and crisp blancs that sing at apéro hour. This AOC also happens to be home to half a dozen vignerons named Reverdy. Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, a family farm that has been making wine for many generations—since the 1600s—is our favorite, producing Sancerres with trademark notes of fresh spring flowers and a zesty, mineral finish. Since Kermit began to work with Hippolyte, the first Reverdy in this family to bottle, in the 1980s, the wines have been consistently excellent. The current generation, Julie Guiard—Hippolyte’s granddaughter—is as much a humble farmer as any of her ancestors, foregoing vacation and travel to make sure everything is in exactly the right place in her vines and cellar. As we celebrate four decades of importing Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy, join me in opening a bottle of this charming Sancerre that represents what we love most about tradition in French winemaking.$44.9024+ -

2020 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion
Winery Notes- The growth is located east of Saint-Emilion on the northern slope of a limestone plateau. Its location in a cool sector is a true advantage in the context of climate change. Its plots are established on clay-limestone soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest. Château Fleur Cardinale is naturally complex and generous, with a sensation of fresh and intense fruit both on the nose and palate. The wine is renowned for its ability to achieve perfect balance between the power and silkiness of Merlots grown on clay soils, and the fresh, distinguished character of Cabernets grown on limestone. It is a great wine for aging, thanks to a solid structure supported by consistently fine tannins, a true signature of the House.$49.9010 -
2023 Dominique Roger Les Deserts Sancerre
The Roger family’s roots in the Sancerre can be measured in centuries, with records showing the family residing in the region since the early 18th century. It was in 1950 that Dominique’s father Maurice started Domaine du Carrou in one Sancerre’s finest villages, Bué. This high altitude bastion of Sauvignon Blanc boasts all three of the regions famed soil types: terres blanches, caillotes, and an enviable percentage of silex. In the vineyards, Dominique chooses to work the soils constantly, allowing the roots to extend into the limestone mother rock. Herbicides and pesticides are never used and the grapes are only hand harvested (a practice that is becoming rarer and rarer in Sancerre). In the cellar, only indigenous yeasts are used and the wines are aged in tank to preserve the mineral cut of these privileged vineyards. The dedication put forth by the Roger family has vaulted to the upper echelons of the region. Domaine du Carrou is consistently ranked as one of the top producers in all of Sancerre by La Revue du Vin de France and other French publications.$39.9021 -
2022 K Vintners Motor City Kitty - Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Syrah
Winery Notes- 2022 was a unique year for wine grapes in Washington State. A slow start due to a late spring eventually balanced out into an even and warm summer, ultimately leading to one of the longest falls we have ever experienced. Our vineyards, which produce great grapes year in and year out, harvested fruit that lent itself to extremely special wines this year. Wines that are firm, bright, and beautiful, with lovely aromas. We’re excited to watch them continue to develop and provide enjoyment for years to come!$36.9024+ -
2023 Pascal Jolivet Sancerre

Press lightly to maintain optimum fruitiness. Assembly of 50% limestone, 30% clay-limestone and 20% flint. Each soil is vinified separately in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the limestone brings minerality and finesse; the clay-limestone brings the fruit, the richness and the flint brings the structure and the minerality. Unique, precise, chic, timeless and divinely good.$39.9014 -
2023 Aperture Soil Specific Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2023 sauvignon blanc incorporates our estate-grown sémillion and sauvignon musqué, that we planted on the Aperture property in 2019. These two estate blocks were hand-harvested in early September at the same time as the Sauvignon Blanc from Farrow Ranch in Geyserville. The sauvignon blanc from Dry Stack Vineyard in the Bennett Valley AVA was brought to the winery in early October, consistent with this vineyard’s unique late-ripening characteristics.$36.908 -
2024 Quintessa Illumination Napa - Sonoma Counties Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- Illumination shares equal complexity and stands as a worthy partner to our estate blend. Agustin and Valeria Huneeus saw the potential of Sauvignon Blanc to be transparent to its terroir and planted a plot of the variety at Quintessa in 2002. Today, this limited production wine is one of Napa Valley’s most sought after white wines.$44.9010 -

2022 Emmolo (Caymus) Napa Valley Merlot (Elsewhere $55)
Jenny Wagner, the youngest offspring of Chuck Wagner, renowned for Caymus wines, serves as the winemaker at Emmolo Winery, a namesake tribute to her mother, Cheryl Emmolo. The Emmolo family boasts a rich legacy deeply rooted in Napa Valley. In 1923, great-grandfather Salvatore Emmolo initiated a grape rootstock nursery, a tradition continued by his son Frank. Under Frank's stewardship, the family property saw the cultivation of Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot, marking a significant chapter in the Emmolo family's enduring connection with the Napa Valley. Nose: Cocktail cherries and sweet spice, with notes of savory bread, newly oiled leather and pronounced French oak. Palate: Smooth upon entry, with a richness that builds. Flavors of cherry, spice and savory bread carry over from the nose, with lush plums and a hint of jerky. Dusty, powdery tannins lend softness. 2023 Merry Edwards Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- We began making our Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc in 2001, and we have lovingly reproduced this delicious wine each vintage since. The nose of the 2023 vintage features fragrant tropical aromas of white pineapple, passionfruit, mango and guava, with subtle hints of plumeria, lemon curd and lime zest. The palate is clean and bright, with accents of ruby red grapefruit, honeysuckle and ripe melon followed by a burst of crisp, refreshing acidity.$44.904 -
2021 K Vintners MCK (Motor City Kitty) Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Syrah (Was $40)
Winery Notes- 2021 was one of the warmest vintages to date in Washington. Bud break started early due to nice weather and moderate temperatures, then June was one of the warmest in recorded history, resulting in very small berries. Veraison and the beginning of the ripening season were nice and even, leading to excellent fruit with incredible concentration. Overall, 2021 is a distinct and lovely vintage, producing fantastic wines to enjoy now and into the future. Intriguing, tantalizing and desirable. Expectations turn into surprises of white pepper, black plum, potpourri and fresh pine needles. Melds and twists of complexity - fresh sage, grilled herbs, orange zest and nori notes. Can’t get over it…such an enticing beauty.$29.908 -
