2022 Aurore de Dauzac, Margaux
Winery Notes- The 2022 vintage will be remembered by all. The particularly mild winter led to a very early budburst. Frosts were avoided during the cool nights of April. Once again, the Gironde estuary served as a protector for Château Dauzac’s vineyard. Flowering began around May 15th in ideal weather conditions, but the end of flowering was marked by violent storms. Fortunately, the vineyard was spared from hail. This last rainy episode then gave way to a very hot and dry summer. The drought was the most concerning element of this vintage. Herbal teas applied regularly to the vines helped them to strengthen their resistance and cope with this climate. August only rain helped the vines to complete their veraison. The harvest took place under exceptional weather conditions from September 5th to 26th. The overall yield was small due to the lack of water but the remarkable quality will make the 2022 vintage one of the greatest ever known in Bordeaux. The nose is floral with notes of fresh red fruits. The tannins are present but silky and offer a nice length.Rating(s)$25.9017 -
2022 Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva (Was $50)
Winery Notes- Intense ruby red in color, Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva 2022 strikes the nose with intense notes of black cherry which, together with delicate floral sensations of violet and rose petals, alternate with hints of vanilla and cocoa powder. On the palate, the enveloping and lively entrance stretches out in a balanced way, with sweet and vibrant tannins that accompany and support a savory, long and persistent finish.$39.9012 -
2023 Domaine Génot-Boulanger Meursault Clos Du Cromin
Winery Notes- The aromas are still centered on white fruits, but they come from the south: vineyard peaches and white peaches, with the orchard fruit supported by a skillful touch of oak that enhances it beautifully. The nose promises real generosity and delicious appeal. The palate follows through: sensual, both concentrated and relaxed. The wine is round—but not too much so. Its fruit fills the cheeks before gently stretching out on the finish. A Meursault with no hardness at all, all charm.Rating(s)$129.906 -
2023 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Meursault 1er Cru Santenots
Winery Notes- It is the most Volnay of the Meursault climats, which has the privilege of bearing the name of Volnay when it is planted with Pinot Noir and that of Meursault if Chardonnay is planted, depending on the grape variety. Indeed, the plot is located north of the village of Meursault, between Meursault and Volnay, and the soil, very marly, lends itself to both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Domaine Marquis d'Angerville owns a beautiful plot of 1.05 hectares planted with Chardonnay since 1905, originally by Sem d'Angerville, who wanted to vinify a white Premier Cru. We don't blame him, on the contrary. Our Meursault Santenots expresses above all the minerality of this exceptional terroir. Our breeding method, without excessive stirring, gives it extra energy and tension. This white wine is dry, very fruity, with a persistent bouquet reminiscent of hazelnut. Its fat is not expressed in attack, but over the length. It can be enjoyed young or kept for several years.$199.903 -
2024 Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir (Was $50)
Winery Notes- Deep ruby red in color with lush aromas of ripe cherry, nutmeg, dark chocolate and holiday baking spices. Bold and complex flavors of black plum, crushed raspberry and blueberry pie linger on the palate. The texture is rich and lively, and leads into a warm and structured finish.$34.9016 -
2021 Domaine Castagnier Chambolle-Musigny
Planted in 1934, these vines rest at an elevation of 886 feet on the lieu-dit Aux Echanges. Integrated pest management and biodynamic practices employed in the vineyard, but no certification. Pronounced aromas of wild berries and dried leaves. Ripe red fruit aromas and flavors are focused with a dense texture. This wine is youthful with lively acidity and a dry, zesty finish.$174.903 -
2024 Lloyd Carneros Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Layers of tropical fruits, pear, and apple wrap around refreshing acidity and fresh lemon, all supported by rich notes of vanillin leading into a powerful, yet elegant finish.$33.9022 -
2020 Rouget, Pomerol
Winery Notes- Despite a winter with cumulated rainfall largely above average value (650mm in 2020 vs. 430mm in average), the budburst started quite early in the end of March. During the first half of April, the summer-like temperatures, between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, kicked off the growth of the vine. In mid-May, most of the plots were at the flowering stage. The clay soils of the right bank, gorged with water during winter and spring, allowed the vine to endure the summer heat wave. The harvests started very early, on September 15th, 2020 and ended a fortnight later. The wines are smooth and fruity, and have a beautiful concentration, with tension and a lot of freshness. 2020 presents itself as an attractive, charming and accessible vintage, combining the roundness of 2018, and the fresh and velvety tannins of 2019.$59.904 -
2023 Patz & Hall Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay (Was $60)
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay is from blocks planted for Patz & Hall in 1997 and 1999 using the famous “Hyde Wente” selection of Chardonnay. The 2022 Hyde Chardonnay demonstrates why this vineyard has been a three-star, acclaimed Patz & Hall offering for over 30 years. The just ripe pomaceous fruit mingles seamlessly with the vanilla spice from careful new French oak ageing. Evidence of lees contact show by richness of palate and a nuance of toast and flint. This wine has wonderfully fresh acidity that is contrasted by startling deep, rich textures, a seeming contradiction, found in only the greatest Chardonnays.Rating(s)$39.906 -
2023 Tyler Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Our Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir is comprised of fruit from various high quality vineyard sites throughout the region. This bottling is intended to provide great value and represenation, while keeping focus on quality and typicity. We ferment with native yeasts in large, open-top Rousseau oak fermenters. After about five days, fermentation begins and we gently manage extraction with judicious use of both punch-downs and pump-overs. Once dry, we press the wine to tank for a brief settling before racking to french oak barrique. The wine rests in barrel for 8-9 months before racking back to stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result is a structured, yet approachable, Pinot Noir with bright acidity, red fruits and a natural savoriness.$29.9014 -
2024 Sea Smoke Botella Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Botella is named after the mineral-rich soil type found on our Estate Vineyard and other exceptional vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills. Botella’s grapes are sourced from neighboring vineyards of the Sea Smoke estate. Our Pinot Noir is shaped with a gentle hand, echoing the estate’s signature elegance while offering its own bright immediacy. Similar to the approach we take with our estate wines, winemaking features separate fermentations by block with gentle cap management. Botella features less time on the skins, earlier picks for bright aromatics, shorter barrel aging, and lower new French oak impact.$49.9020 -
2023 Etude Grace Benoist Ranch Carneros Chardonnay
Winery Notes- From six special acres in the heart of the Grace Benoist Ranch, our estate Chardonnay is a beautiful example of everything Carneros has to offer. Lively, fresh, and vibrant, this Chardonnay is truly exemplary of elegance and grace, crafted intentionally to showcase the expressive fruit and terroir, so there is no malolactic fermentation, and a delicate touch of oak. Lifted floral notes of honeysuckle, Meyer lemon, and vanilla, waft from the fragrant bouquet, while flavors of zesty, fresh-cut apple, honeydew melon, Bartlett pair, and graham cracker pie crust, intermingle on the palate. Luscious and creamy in texture, with a stony minerality, and pleasing freshness, a signature from Grace Benoist Ranch, demonstrates a lovely, mouth-watering backbone of crisp acidity. The finish is clean and long, delighting the palate, and inviting sip after sip.$33.905 -
2023 Chalone Vineyard Estate Grown Chalone Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2023 Estate Chardonnay opens with notes of banana, vanilla, lemongrass, honey, Meyer lemon, and plenty of wet slate and river rock minerality. Flavors on the palate mirror the nose, adding stone fruits and toasty oak characters to round out this medium-bodied delightful Chardonnay.Rating(s)$21.9011 -
2025 Lucy (Pisoni) Santa Lucia Highlands Rosé of Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2025 Lucy Rosé of Pinot Noir is a bottle alive with vibrance and energy. Cool weather from summer through harvest maintained bright acidity. The wine's character is foreshadowed with the pale salmon color. Aromatics are lively—emitting from the glass are notes of strawberrries, grapefuit, hibiscus, and Monterey Bay sea breeze. The palate builds with rose petal, summer berries, and cataloupe. 2025 was a particularly late year for sugar developement on the vine, which allowed for slow and delicate ripeness. The Lucy Rosé of Pinot Noir was fermented and aged in neutral barrels that bring an attractive texture while maintaining a crisp and dry finish. The complexity and acidity bring this rosé to pair with many different foods and situations from casual to formal. Enjoy!$19.902 -
2021 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux
Winery Notes- While the summer put the vines on a path to greater growth, a sunny September enabled us to pick grapes bursting with promise. 2021 is a vintage in which the talents of our team made the difference, demonstrating the passion and cohesion of a collective effort. While January heralded a cold winter, February promised kinder temperatures and nourishing rains. The return to dry weather fostered consistent budding across the vines. The spring frosts from April and May slowed growth. Flowering eventually began on May 28, in a warm, dry climate. The fruit set accelerated, and a handful of our most earliest ripening Merlots were affected by coulure. Rainfall was followed by a sharp rise in temperatures in June, leading to explosive vegetative growth. Shortly after a torrential storm on June 19, the arrival of mildew required meticulous monitoring. A half-hearted summer until August 15 exacerbated vine growth, sparking fears of low numbers of grapes. In late August and early September, four weeks of dry weather thankfully dispelled a lot of the water and the ripening process resumed as normal, just in time for the harvest. Threatened by botrytis, the Merlot harvest started on September 24 while the Cabernets finished on October 15. Despite more modest yields than expected, the harvest was healthy with ripe grapes, and the tasting revealed a remarkably fine tannic texture. The assemblages were finalized in early December, reflecting an ever-clearer perspective of the Château Palmer plots. This 2021 batch offers exceptionally fulfilled wines, rooted in moderation and harmony, harking back to the vintages of the previous century.$109.905 -
2023 Belle Glos Las Alturas Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (Was $40)
Winery Notes- Rich crimson in color with fragrant aromas of bing cherry, dried fig, black cassis and hints of rich dark chocolate. 2024 Our Lady of Guadalupe Acolytes Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Acolytes Pinot Noir pours a dark crimson core with a vivid ruby rim that opens with aromatic notes of black cherry, raspberry bramble, wild strawberry, bay leaf and potting soil. Energetic from entry, the palate is rife with red and blue fruits framed by an elegant structure of soft tannin. Bright acidity throughout, hints of amaro and pomegranate bow the wine out to a close.$29.9012 -
2021 Roederer Estate Clark Road Vineyard Anderson Valley Brut Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Clark Road Vineyard is a handmade bottling. This vineyard is on the cool west side of Anderson Valley, where Pinot Noir thrives. We are intimately familiar with this site, which we have been farming since 1999. During those years, we have learned that we can leave the fruit on the vine longer than other sites, and as we allow it to ripen, it develops the juicy acidity so essential to top-quality sparkling wine. Clark Road was partially fermented in casks (7%) and with a small amount of reserve wine aged in casks (4.8%) to give the Roederer Estate family touch. It was disgorged in December 2024 after 30 months on the yeast.$44.9018
