2019 Poggio Landi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Winery Notes- The Brunello Riserva comes from a selection of the estate’s best Sangiovese grapes and is mineral and complex. The olfactory profile is broad and varied, in the mouth the fruit appears juicy and the freshness leads the taste to the elegantly tannic and balsamic finish.Rating(s)$139.903 -
2023 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant Monterey County Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- The fruit is carefully selected to ensure its full potential of ripeness with balanced chemistry, and as usual for Cigare, Grenache is the star of the show. As we all know, Grenache grown in relatively cool sites in coastal California has a growing season long enough for it to create the spicy, peppery quality that we love so much and expect to taste in Cigare. We included, as is our wont, some wonderful Cinsault, a rather plump and juicy grape, which was signee to a fare-thee0well, to increase the concentration of this lightly colored and structured grape. The wine was aged in stainless steel tank and bottled ten months after harvest to preserve freshness and vibrancy.Rating(s)$14.9024 -
2023 Castello Banfi Rosso di Montalcino
Winery Notes- A mild winter and an exceptionally warm April led to an early budbreak. The cool and rainy months of May and June were followed by July and August with temperatures so high they inhibited photosynthesis and delayed ripening. In early September, temperatures suddenly dropped below average and were accompanied by frequent rainfall. This unusual seasonal pattern resulted in wines that are fresher, lower in alcohol and concentration, yet marked by surprisingly graceful tannins. The color is bright ruby red with fresh, sweet and fruity aromas of blackberry and ripe cherry: floral and spicy notes of vanilla, tobacco and licorice are also evident. The structure is ample, concentrated and harmonious, with good acidity; beautiful final persistence that gives pleasantness to the drink.Rating(s)$29.901 -
2023 Giornata Il Campo Rosso Paso Robles Red Blend
Winery Notes- Always blended to display a signature house style, the Il Campo Rosso marries bright fruit and fresh acidity with a richly textured, medium-weight body. Neutral oak and large Italian casks allow the bright fruit to shine without makeup. A food-friendly, easy drinking style.$22.9012 -
2023 Giornata Paso Robles Montepulciano
Winery Notes- Now with a few vintages with these grapes under our belt, we’ve learned when to pick and how to treat it in the cellar to tame this beast. The brooding nature of this wine, with its intensity and richness, has quickly become a favorite. Take a trip on the dark side.$29.9012 -
2023 Denner Nightshade Paso Robles Red Blend
Deep ruby-purple in the glass, the 2023 Denner Nightshade opens with plush Paso aromatics—black cherry and blueberry compote layered with cocoa nib, lavender, and dried sagebrush, plus hints of graphite, vanilla bean, and baking spice. The palate is generous yet focused: a core of ripe dark fruit wrapped in velvety, fine-grained tannins, lifted by a lively acid line that keeps all that richness moving. Notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and a savory whisper of black olive and pepper emerge as it unwinds, finishing long, warm, and mouthcoating with a late snap of spice and crushed rock.Rating(s)$39.9016 -
2019 Livio Sassetti Pertimali Brunello di Montalcino (Was $80)
Winery Notes- The grape bunches undergo light pressing. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28 – 29°C with maceration period of 10 – 15 days. Aged for 36 months in 33hl Slavonian oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. Deep ruby red color with aromas of ripe red fruit and spices. Elegant and structured, with soft and pleasant tannins and a long, persistent finish.$59.906 -
2023 Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- A pretty, savory nose of black pepper and teriyaki marinade. Lovely on the palate with black fruit and black licorice in front, leavened by plum skin acids and a finish with sweet sarsaparilla and smoky oolong tea notes. It is somehow both serious and playful and should be a great introduction for people into the category of California Rhone-style blends.$21.907 -
2019 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino
This red features a superb balance between ripe cherry, raspberry and currant fruit and savory elements of juniper and thyme. Earth and mineral accents add detail, and this has everything in the right proportions for a long life ahead. Best from 2028 through 2045. 6,000 cases made, 1,265 cases imported.$99.903 -

2019 Castello di Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino
#28 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- The Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino is our flagship wine and reflects more than 30 years of working in harmony with nature in Montalcino. The estate has new and old vineyards of Sangiovese at high altitudes in the northwest of Montalcino. The Sangiovese grapes are carefully selected before and after destemming. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with an initial short period of cold maceration followed by maceration at a higher controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation is naturally caused, so the wine is rested to separate the lees. The wine matures in oak for a minimum of 24 months, and, after bottling, it is aged in Castello Romitorio’s temperaturecontrolled cellars for a minimum of 4 months before release.

2019 Voliero Brunello di Montalcino
In 2006, Andrea Cortonesi put a lot of miles on his car. Already the founder, proprietor, vigneron and winemaker for the Uccelliera estate, he was also running his own restaurant in Siena called Il Casato. It was in his capacity as restaurateur that the Voliero label was born: in researching all of the best possible local products for the menu, a friend of his in Montalcino offered him grapes from his vineyard in the Canalicchio cru in northern Montalcino to make a wine just for the restaurant. There was never enough Uccelliera wines to go around, so he accepted the idea to produce a second label.$64.9012 -
2019 Caprili Brunello di Montalcino
Winery Notes- Caprili is located near Tavernelle within the Montalcino appellation. The Brunello is sourced from mainly three vineyards - Ceppo Nero, Pino and Quadrucci. The soil is a mix of sand, clay and limestone in varying amounts depending on vineyard location. Aged three years in large, neutral Slavonian oak (30, 40 and 60HL casks) followed by one year in the bottle before release.$64.909
