2021 Castello di Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino
Winery Notes- The Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino is our flagship wine and reflects more than 30 years of working in harmony with nature in Montalcino. The estate has new and old vineyards of Sangiovese at high altitudes in the northwest of Montalcino. The Sangiovese grapes are carefully selected before and after destemming. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with an initial short period of cold maceration followed by maceration at a higher controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation is naturally caused, so the wine is rested to separate the lees. The wine matures in oak for a minimum of 24 months, and, after bottling, it is aged in Castello Romitorio’s temperature controlled cellars for a minimum of 4 months before release.$69.9024 -

2019 Poggio Landi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Winery Notes- The Brunello Riserva comes from a selection of the estate’s best Sangiovese grapes and is mineral and complex. The olfactory profile is broad and varied, in the mouth the fruit appears juicy and the freshness leads the taste to the elegantly tannic and balsamic finish.Rating(s)$139.903 -
2020 Casanova di Neri White Label Brunello di Montalcino (Was $75)
Winery Notes- Bright and lively red color. Its charming nose gives mineral fragrances followed by hints of sour cherry and pink flowers. The juicy palate opens with citrusy sensations enriched by blueberry aromas. Tannins are lively and well-balanced. Its delicious finish is supported by vibrant acidity and crisp young fruitiness.$64.902 -
2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -

2023 Wayfarer Wayfarer Vineyard Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
#8 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2025 Winery Notes- Wayfarer’s flagship Pinot Noir encapsulates the truest representation of our estate vineyard each vintage, a wine that can only be from one place in the world. Our ten Pinot Noir clonal selections are planted in individual blocks on both east and west facing slopes, providing myriad expressions of clone, aspect, elevation and microclimate to reveal the complex character of our exceptional vineyard. The 2023 Pinot Noir ‘The Estate’ flaunts a vibrant ruby hue in the glass. Expressive, layered aromatics evoke alpine strawberry, black raspberry, crushed rose petal, green cardamom, pomegranate and fresh sage. The seamless pure fruit character is framed with firm but finely textured tannin and elevated with a fresh backbone of acidity. While drinking beautifully now, this vintage will continue to develop nuance and complexity in bottle for the next decade.$89.902 -
2020 Casanova di Neri Tenuta Nuova Brunello di Montalcino (Was $160)
Winery Notes- Intense and young in color, the Tenuta Nuova 2020 opens to the nose with cloves, bay leaf and wild blackberries, followed by hints of almonds and cherry. In the mouth it is ample and generous with velvety, fine and vibrant tannins. The finish is fragrant and extraordinarily long, leaving an evident trace of licorice and small red fruits.$129.9022 -
2018 Peter Michael Ma Belle-Fille Knights Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2018 Ma Belle-Fille expresses nuances and complexity of dough, jasmine, pineapple, fresh pear, pastry elements, golden apple and nectarine accentuated by elegant minerality. Generous on the palate, rich with a creamy texture and multilayered, the wine displays brioche, orange blossom, dry honey, almond, nougat, vanilla, and clove. A pure expression of the Terroir of Ma Belle-Fille—gourmand, elegant and mineral, the finish is slightly oily, classic and very long. The wine will age gracefully for two decades.$179.903 -

2022 Brewer-Clifton Machado Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Looking to secure a mirror-image sister ranch to our 3D Vineyard, we began working with the Machado family in the winter of 2008. Our 15 acre parcel on their land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak Vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy loam soils. At Machado, the majority of the planting is dedicated to pinot noir with equal amounts of such selections as Pommard, Merry Edwards, Mount Eden, and 459. In addition to pinot noir, we also planted a small, two-acre plot in the sandiest portion of the field to the Sweeney Canyon selection of chardonnay.Rating(s)$84.9017 -
2019 Jonata Todos Ballard Canyon Red Blend
Winery Notes- Incense and Nag Champa fragrance. Bidis. Clove and cigar and black and red licorice. Dark and brooding with sweet blackberries, blueberries, cinnamon and baking spice. Black figs. Cracked white pepper. Like 2013 Todos in its power and breadth. Salty and tight today. Spicy and dark. Lovely depth of fruit. Tannins that start to build on the 3/4 pallet and slowly coat the entire mouth. Bundle of fruit wrapped in a formidable package of complex structure. Will reward those who decant and those who give it a few years in the cellar. One of my favorite Todos to date, no doubt. -

2019 Voliero Brunello di Montalcino
In 2006, Andrea Cortonesi put a lot of miles on his car. Already the founder, proprietor, vigneron and winemaker for the Uccelliera estate, he was also running his own restaurant in Siena called Il Casato. It was in his capacity as restaurateur that the Voliero label was born: in researching all of the best possible local products for the menu, a friend of his in Montalcino offered him grapes from his vineyard in the Canalicchio cru in northern Montalcino to make a wine just for the restaurant. There was never enough Uccelliera wines to go around, so he accepted the idea to produce a second label.$64.9012
